Illegal Electric Bike Seized

Dear Residents

Yesterday, whilst out on routine patrol in Greenfield, local PCSOs came across a person riding an illegal electric bike.

Following checks PCSOs seized the vehicle under Section 165 of the Road Traffic Act after it was established that there was no valid insurance policy in place.

We will continue to proactively target illegally used vehicles to help keep our roads and communities safe. If you have concerns about the use of illegal off-road bikes or electric bikes in your area, please report them to us.
